Adoption Information

Thank you for considering adopting one of our horses!

By adopting a horse, you make a commitment to take care of the horse for the rest of its life.

HOW DO YOU GO ABOUT ADOPTING?

1. Persons intersted in adopting a horse must complete an Adoption Application & Agreement and return it to us either by fax or mail. The Adoption Application requires personal and contact information. The Adoption Agreement portion of the form explains the terms of the agreement.

2. Additional information that is required for an adoption application to be processed:

• Valid drivers license
• Phone number and address of stable where adopted horse will be boarded
• Financial proof of affordibility to care for adopted horse such as recent paystub
• Proof of residency; must be at residence for 2 or more years
• Marital status information
• Two personal references
• Name and telephone number of the nearest relative not living in same residence

3. You must come to our facility at least two or three times to work with and bond with the horse proving that you and the horse are the right fit for each other.

4. Payment for an adopted horse must be in cash or by cashier's check.
